Rules for using the Cool mobile app.

Effective date: March 11, 2026. By using Cool, you agree to these terms.

1. Service scope

Cool provides software features for community finance coordination, Mobile Money handoff orchestration, partner services, mobility flows, referrals, ticketing, and credit-visibility features for the Rwanda market only. Except where clearly stated by a licensed partner, Cool is not itself a bank, telecom, payment processor, or insurer.

2. Eligibility and account use

You must provide accurate account information and keep your phone, WhatsApp access, and device secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

3. Payments and partner flows

Cool may launch USSD, messaging, QR, NFC, or partner handoff flows. Transaction completion depends on your telecom provider, financial institution, designated recipient, and partner systems. Fees, limits, and availability may vary by Rwanda-based provider and partner rules.

4. User responsibilities

Do not misuse the app for fraud, harassment, impersonation, or unlawful activity.
Do not upload false member, payment, or identity information.
Use only MoMo routes, groups, and partner flows you are authorized to use.

5. Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party providers, including WhatsApp, Firebase, telecom operators, mapping services, and partner systems. Their availability may affect the service.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operational reasons. You may also delete your account at any time from inside the app.

7. Disclaimers

Cool is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the performance of third-party services.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cool is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or failure of third-party systems.

9. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The current version will remain published at this URL.
